When you merge or clean up duplicate contacts in HubSpot or OfficeRnD, the link between the 2 records can break. When that happens, the sync stops working correctly, and you end up with new duplicates or errors that block future updates. Until now, fixing this meant raising a support ticket or using the API.
Flex admins can manually link and unlink contacts and companies between the 2 systems, giving you direct control over how records are matched without any external help.

Link and unlink contacts or companies between OfficeRnD and HubSpot.
Clear sync errors by relinking records after a merge.
Use the Location property to stop unwanted HubSpot records from syncing.
Filter your sync to include only the contacts and companies that matter.
Why sync links break
Every contact and company in OfficeRnD has a direct link to its matching record in HubSpot. That link is what keeps the 2 systems in sync. When you merge or clean up duplicates in either system, that link can break. Once it's gone, the sync no longer knows which records belong together, and you start seeing new duplicates or errors that block updates from going through.
You can fix this without raising a support ticket. The link and unlink controls in your Admin Portal let you choose exactly which OfficeRnD record connects to which HubSpot record. You can also clear old errors by unlinking a broken connection and relinking it to the correct record.
Link and unlink contacts or companies
Use this when a merge or cleanup in HubSpot or OfficeRnD has broken the connection between 2 records. Follow these steps to reestablish or remove the link.
Step 1: Unlink a record
To remove the connection between an OfficeRnD record and a HubSpot record:
Open the Flex Admin Portal and go to Operations > Members or Operations > Companies.
Open the Contact or Company profile you want to unlink and reconnect.
In the Integrations section, under HubSpot, click Unlink.
Confirm the action in the dialog by clicking Unlink.
In the Integrations section, under HubSpot, click Link.
Choose the HubSpot contact to which you want to link the OfficeRnD record, and click Link.
At the next sync, the correct records will sync between the two systems.
Ensure only relevant records are synced
Once you have removed the link between the records in the two systems and relinked them to the correct ones, you should remove the Location property value in HubSpot to ensure the "wrong" records are never synced again.
If a contact in HubSpot has no Location value, it will not be automatically synced, so you will never have to worry about it again.
