Hybrid Data Hub - Desks

Summary

The Desks dashboard shows key metrics for Desk type of resources. If you have multiple such resources you can narrow down to a specific resource type or a particular resource using the Filters. The dashboard is focused only on bookable resources and doesn’t include assignable resources. 

This report can help you decide if you should lower the number of desks in your office to cut your real estate costs, track the office presence of your employees (by person or team), see which desks are least used (perhaps the environment around them needs an improvement), etc.

The dashboard data is updated every 2 hours.

Included Metrics

  • Desk Bookings - The number of bookings for Desk type of resources according to the Date filter used.
  • Average Desks Utilization Rate - Calculated based on: Total booking duration within the working days / Total business hours duration of the working days.
  • % Desk No Shows - How many of the bookings requiring check-in were automatically canceled. Calculated based on: Auto-canceled bookings as employees didn’t check-in/ Total number of bookings requiring check-in.
  • Daily Desks Utilization - The daily utilization of bookable Desk type resources., divided into three categories:
    • Non-utilized - desks without bookings within business hours (can be turned off/on with a mouse click).
    • Partially utilized - desks with bookings during business hours but not fully booked (can be turned off/on with a mouse click).
    • Fully utilized - desks that are fully booked during business hours. E.g desks booked every business weekday for the whole workday duration (can be turned off/on with a mouse click).

  • Daily Desks Utilization Rate - The daily utilization rate of bookable Desks. Calculated based on: Total booking duration within the day / Total business hours duration of the day.

  • Neighborhood Daily Utilization Rate - The daily utilization rate of Neighborhoods that have bookable desks and desks not assigned to a neighborhood. Calculated based on: Total booking duration within the day for the neighborhood / Total business hours duration of the day for the neighborhood.

  • Weekly Desks Utilization Rate  - The average weekly utilization rate of bookable desks for this week and the last 12 weeks. Calculated based on: Total booking duration within the working days of a week / Total weekly duration within the business hours of the working days of a week.
  • Monthly Desks Utilization Rate  -  The average monthly utilization rate of bookable desks for this and the last 6 months. Calculated based on: Total booking duration within the working days of a month / Total weekly duration within the business hours of the working days of a month.

  • Desks, by Utilization Rate - Average utilization rate of the bookable resources defined as Desk on the Office Map.

  • Desk Bookings by Source  - The number of desk bookings by the Source of the booking (Web Portal, MS Teams, Mobile App, QR code, etc...)
  • Desk Bookings by Day of the Week and Recurrence Type  - the number of desk bookings per day of the week and recurrence type (Single or Recurring bookings).

  • Desk Bookings Requiring Check-in, by Booking Status - The split of bookings that require check-in between confirmed bookings and canceled bookings. The latter are split by cancellation type - manually canceled vs auto-canceled.
