[Flex] How to Connect and Use Stripe Terminals

You can connect Stripe Terminals to your Stripe account and use them to:

  • Automatically charge invoices.

  • Accept direct in-person payments from your customers.

  • Automatically add customers' payment details by scanning their card.

Please note that we do not currently support the addition of processing fees.


Connect Stripe Terminals to OfficeRnD

To start using Stripe Terminals in OfficeRnD Flex, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations and click Configure under Stripe.

  2. In the Stripe Payment Methods dialog, open the Stripe Terminal tab.

  3. Map the OfficeRnD Locations to your Stripe locations.

    • You will only see the OfficeRnD Locations you have configured when activating the Stripe integration.

    • You will only see the Stripe locations that have a Stripe Terminal connected to them.

  4. Click Update.

Error messages

You might encounter different error messages when connecting Stripe Terminals to OfficeRnD.

Stripe Location was deleted

If you previously created a Stripe location and connected a Terminal to it but later deleted it from your Stripe account, you will receive an error message.

To resolve the error:

  1. Open your Stripe Dashboard and create a new location.

  2. Go back to OfficeRnD Flex and map the OfficeRnD Location to the new Stripe location.

Stripe Terminal was removed from the Stripe Location

If you previously created a Stripe Location and connected a Terminal to it but later removed the Terminal from that Location, you will receive an error message.
