A buyer looking at a meeting room or day pass on your storefront has no way to know if other customers had a good experience, so they hesitate. Testimonials let you add short customer quotes directly to your storefront detail pages, giving buyers social proof at the exact moment they're deciding to book.

Testimonials sit under Storefront Settings, alongside your Detailed Page configuration, and are displayed on the detail page for every resource type: meeting rooms, private offices, event spaces, day passes, hot desks, and memberships.

In this article:

  • Add a testimonial

  • Turn a testimonial on or off

  • Edit or delete a testimonial

  • Understand how testimonials display to buyers

Prerequisites

  • Growth Hub must be active on your account.

  • You need access to Growth Hub settings on the Admin Portal.

  • You can add up to 3 testimonials. To add a 4th, delete or replace an existing one first.

How testimonials work

Each testimonial has 3 parts: an optional client avatar, a client name, and the testimonial quote. There's no star rating field. Testimonials render on the storefront detail page as a set of quote cards, in the same order they're listed on the Detailed Page settings page.

If a testimonial's avatar is missing, the storefront shows a generic placeholder icon instead, so the card still displays cleanly. If you turn off all testimonials, the Testimonials section won't display on your storefront at all.

On the detail page, the Testimonials section appears near the bottom, after the location map and available extras, and above the closing content.

Add a testimonial

Add testimonials from the Detailed Page settings page. Each one you add appears as its own card that you can expand, collapse, edit, or delete.

  1. Go to Growth Hub > Storefront Settings > Detailed Page.

  2. Under Testimonials, click Add Testimonial.

  3. Upload a Client Avatar (optional). Use a 1:1 aspect ratio image for the best fit.

  4. Type the Client Name (required, up to 50 characters). Include a title or company if you want it to show, for example "Sarah M., Founder & CEO, Apex Digital".

  5. Type the Testimonial quote (required, up to 400 characters).

  6. Save your changes.

Important: You can add up to 3 testimonials. The Add Testimonial button is unavailable once you reach the limit.

Turn a testimonial on or off

The toggle next to each testimonial controls whether it displays on your storefront, so you can prepare or retire a testimonial without deleting it.

  1. Go to Growth Hub > Storefront Settings > Detailed Page.

  2. Find the testimonial you want to change.

  3. Turn the toggle on to display it on the storefront, or off to hide it.

Edit or delete a testimonial

You can update a testimonial's content at any time, or delete it if you no longer want to use it.

  1. Go to Growth Hub > Storefront Settings > Detailed Page.

  2. Click the expander arrow on a testimonial to open it.

  3. Update the avatar, client name, or quote, then save your changes.

  4. To remove a testimonial entirely, click the delete icon (trash can) on that testimonial.

Warning: Deleting a testimonial is permanent. Save the client name and quote elsewhere first if you might want to reuse them later.

Best practices

  • If you serve multiple customer segments (for example, coworking members and event clients), pick testimonials that speak to each segment so buyers of every resource type see relevant social proof.

  • If a testimonial names a specific company, confirm you have permission to use the quote and company name before publishing it to your public storefront.

  • If you don't have a client photo, leave the avatar field blank rather than uploading a stock image. The placeholder icon reads as more authentic than a mismatched photo.

FAQs

Why isn't a testimonial showing on my storefront?

A testimonial doesn't show on your storefront when its toggle is off. Go to Growth Hub > Storefront Settings > Detailed Page and turn the toggle on for that testimonial.

Can I add more than 3 testimonials?

You can't add more than 3 testimonials at a time. If you want to feature a different one, delete or edit an existing testimonial instead of adding a new one.

Do I need a client photo for each testimonial?

You don't need a client photo for each testimonial. If you leave the avatar field blank, the storefront displays a generic placeholder icon instead.

Can buyers rate or submit their own testimonials?

Buyers can't rate or submit their own testimonials. Testimonials are added and managed only by admins on the Detailed Page settings page.
