Bulk Edit Resources

Sometimes you might need to edit multiple resources and their properties in one operation. This is where the bulk edit comes in handy. 

To bulk edit resources, choose your starting point:

When you navigate to the Space module, on the left-hand side menu you can open a list of a specific type of resources - for example, you can view all Desks or all Meeting Rooms. In all resource views you can use a bulk edit to change the properties of multiple resources.

  1. Navigate to Space and click on any of the resource pages (Meeting rooms, Desks, etc.)
  2. Select multiple resources.
  3. From the top-right menu, click Edit.
  4. Update the properties that you want to change.
  5. Click Update

When the values of a certain property are different for the selected resources, you will see the following label under that field - “Mixed Values Selected”. If you select a value during the bulk edit, it will be applied to each resource.

  1. Open a Floor in a Location.
  2. Hold Cmd for Mac or Ctrl for Windows.
  3. Select the desks that you want to edit by clicking on them or dragging to select multiple desks.
  4. Click Edit
  5. Update the properties that you want to change.
  6. Click Update.

Please keep in mind:
  • Bulk edit is not available for Locations and Floors.
  • You cannot bulk edit the following resource properties:
    • Location
    • Floor
    • Resource Type
  • You cannot edit selected desks if they belong to different locations. A location filter should be applied firstmceclip0.png
