Sometimes, duplicate or redundant member profiles may appear in your OfficeRnD Flex system. The merge functionality allows you to consolidate two member records into one, ensuring that important data, such as memberships, invoices, passes, and bookings, is preserved under a single profile. This is useful when a member is accidentally created more than once or when historical data needs to be preserved during profile clean-up.
By the end of the article, you will be able to safely merge two members, understand what data will be transferred, and recognize the limitations and risks involved in the process.
Before merging Members
Before merging two Members, please consider the following:
Merging Members cannot be undone.
The merged Member will inherit data, including memberships, Fees, billing documents (such as Invoices, Credit Notes, and Payments), Bookings, Credits, Passes, Opportunities, and Attachments.
Information about the parent Company of the Member being merged will be disregarded (when there's a mismatch).
