While onboarding customers in OfficeRnD, the question of what you should create - a member or a company - may often arise. Here are some tips:

  • We recommend that you create companies when the billing isn't going to be done for an individual but for a legal entity.

  • You should create a company if you want to use contracts.

  • Usually, creating a single company and assigning multiple members is best. This will facilitate the management of memberships, invoices, credits, etc. Otherwise, you'll have to manage each property for every member.

  • It's possible to set a membership or a fee to be billed directly to the member. This is a suitable approach when certain memberships and fees are assigned to a specific person.
