In OfficeRnD Workplace, you can mark your booking as Private. If you do that, your colleagues will not see who booked the resource. For anyone else, the booking appears greyed out and not available for booking. You can do that for any resource booking (meeting rooms, desks, or offices).
Make a Private Booking
To make a Private booking through the dedicated page in your OfficeRnD Web Portal, follow the usual booking flow and click More Options in the booking dialog.
This will expand further settings. In the Privacy section, select Private to automatically hide your name from the booking and the resource for anyone else.
Please remember that this also hides you from the Teammates indication on each booking page, which shows an overview of who is in the office on that day.
All of your bookings can be viewed in the Bookings tab on the My Account page. In the Privacy column, you will have a clear indication of whether a booking is Private or not:
You can also turn any of your Public bookings into Private. Click the editing icon and select the Private box.
Default Private Bookings for Users
You can also set all your bookings as Private by default. This way, you don't need to worry about the checkbox.
1. Open the My Account page.
2. Scroll down to reach the Privacy Preferences section and click Manage.
3. In the dialog, you can make private bookings for Desk and Space type resources by default.
Default Private Bookings for Organizations
Administrators can turn on default private bookings for all members in their organizations. Users can change that option for their accounts anytime by doing one of the following:
Go to their profile page in the Web Portal and turn it off or on in the Privacy tab.
Turn it off or on for individual bookings in the booking dialog (see above).
All administrators can change the default booking privacy for their organizations. If you want to turn on default private bookings:
Go to Settings > Organization and open the Privacy tab.
In the Booking Privacy section, select Desks and/or Spaces to turn on default private bookings for the respective resource type.
