The Growth Hub's checkout page allows you to tailor the billing form to meet your business needs. You can define separate fields for personal and business purchases, choose which fields are required, and customize the labels that appear to your customers. This will optimize your customers' booking experience and boost conversion rates.
This article explains the steps to creating a dynamic and personalized landing page, ensuring your website looks great and performs effectively.
Personal vs. business billing forms
The checkout page in Growth Hub supports two billing types:
Personal use
This form is used when the customer is purchasing as an individual.
Business use
This form is used when the customer purchases on behalf of a company. It has more available fields, such as Tax ID or Company Name.
How billing information is used
The billing details collected at checkout are utilized based on whether the customer is purchasing for the first time or has previously purchased a product from your store.
First-time customers
Personal purchases:
A new company and member profile are created using the individual's name and email.
Billing and address fields are stored in the company profile.
Business purchases:
A company is created using the Company Legal Name.
A member profile is created using the individual's name and email.
Billing and address fields are stored in the company profile.
Returning customers
If the system finds a matching company or individual:
A new invoice is created using the entered billing details.
The company profile is updated with the new billing information.
To ensure consistency, the billing details provided at checkout are matched to those stored in the system. For personal purchases, this verification relies on the name and email, while for business purchases, it also includes the company name along with the name and email.
