Booking check-ins are a feature that allows you to prevent "ghost" bookings, which occur when someone books a resource but doesn't show up to use it. If bookings require check-in, your employees must verify their bookings by checking in.
Set up check-in requirements for a resource(s)
A check-in requirement is activated by modifying the booking policy the resource(s) will use. Depending on the settings, there will be a window in which the booking will require a check-in. If that window is missed, the booking will be canceled automatically.
