  2. Click Customize.

  3. Click Customize next to "Visitor".

  4. Configure the fields visitors must fill out.

    • Click to rename a field.

    • Click to delete a field.

    • You can make any field optional or required.

    • The Full Name field is required by default and cannot be removed.

Pre-registered or returning visitors can be recognized in the Visitor app only if their email is already saved in the system. Upon successful check-in, the host will receive a notification. Learn more about visitor flows →

Add more fields

You can add multiple fields to the check-in flow if you want to collect more information from your visitors. You can make any of them optional or required. You have the following options:

  • Email address – This is a text field where visitors and employees can enter their email addresses.

  • Host – This is a text field. Visitors and guests must enter their host's name and select it from the list.

  • Phone number – This is a phone number field with an area code selector.

  • Company – This is a text field where visitors and employees can enter their company name.

  • Custom field – You can create a custom field (read more below).

The recommended maximum number is 8 fields. Try not to add more than that to improve the app's usability and your visitors' and employees' experience.

.

If you want to add a custom field, you can make it a text field, a single-choice, or a multiple-choice field:

  • For Single and Multiple Choice fields, enter each individual option in the Options field and press Enter. Do not separate the options by comma.

  • Enter the field name and click Add when you're finished.
