The OfficeRnD Space Management module allows you to manage the availability and occupancy of your spaces effectively.
There are three types of permanent or assignable resources by default, but you can also create custom resources. Learn more about creating custom resources here.
The default resource types include:
Dedicated Desks: Permanently assigned desks.
Private Offices: Entire offices for exclusive use.
Private Office Desks: Individual desks within an office can be assigned independently.
How to assign desks
There are multiple ways to assign desks within OfficeRnD. Here are two primary methods:
Member profile
To assign a desk through a Member Profile:
Go to the relevant company or member profile.
In the Memberships section, click Assign under the desired membership.
In the dialog that appears:
Select the Resource, Start Date, and End Date.
Click Assign to finalize the process.
Floor plan
A more visual option is to assign resources through the interactive floor plan.
Open the Floor Plan view.
Click the resource you want to assign.
Click Assign button to complete the process.
Assign members to memberships
To assign a member to a membership:
Find the member and open their profile.
Choose the membership you want to assign.
You can assign memberships both with or without specifying a member.
Important: The Resource Type must match the Billing Plan type used for the membership. For example, you cannot assign a Dedicated Desk membership to a Private Office.
Assigning members without a membership
In rare situations, you may assign a member without a membership. For example:
If an office is assigned to a company's single membership, you can assign each office desk to individual company members.
