The SMS notifications add-on in OfficeRnD Visitor Hub improves communication by sending real-time updates when visitors or deliveries arrive. With this feature, hosts and recipients receive SMS alerts that reduce delays, improve visitor handling, and support faster delivery coordination.
This article explains how the SMS add-on works, how it's activated, key pricing information, and what requirements are needed for it to function correctly.
How SMS notifications work
Visitor Hub will automatically start sending SMS notifications when the add-on is activated in your OfficeRnD Visitor Hub account. You don't need to opt in.
To ensure proper delivery of messages:
Hosts (members of your space) must have a valid phone number saved in their OfficeRnD profile.
Guests or visitors must enter their phone number during the pre-registration or check-in process.
When the add-on is activated, OfficeRnD will start sending SMS alerts for the following events:
Visitor arrivals β Hosts are notified via SMS as soon as their visitor checks in.
Delivery arrivals β Recipients are alerted via SMS when a delivery has been logged for them.
Pricing information
The SMS add-on is a paid feature and is not included in the OfficeRnD Visitor Hub trial plan.
Keep in mind the following details about pricing and usage:
The service includes a monthly SMS allocation based on your subscription.
SMS usage incurs carrier charges depending on the recipient's region and your carrier's pricing.
