[Integration] Isofy

OfficeRnD's integration with isofy allows Flex space operators to integrate OfficeRnD with the WiFi network managed by isofy, a unified world-class network and workspace management solution. The integration is developed and supported by our partners from isofy.

Benefits

  • Network user authorization via OfficeRnD.
  • Single sign-on experience (using the OfficeRnD credentials for the Member Portal).
  • See who is currently online.
  • Automate check-in and check-out functions:
    • As member devices connect to the network, a check-in activity is sent to OfficeRnD.
    • As members disconnect from the network, a check-out activity is sent to OfficeRnD.
    • Stationary "always-on" devices that might be registered to that member are excluded.
    • To reduce false check-outs, a check-out grace period can be set (in minutes) within isofy, adding a pad to each network disconnection.
  • As Companies are created in OfficeRnD, private networks (VLANs) can be created automatically in isofy for each company. Then the members are assigned to their appropriate Company's private network.
  • Quickly connect visitors and place them into a guest network which is isolated from the members' network:

Key features

  • When you add a new Member in OfficeRnD, you also create a network user in isofy.
  • Members can use their OfficeRnD credentials to access the isofy network.
  • When you create a new Company in OfficeRnD, you can either create a private network in isofy that the company's members will automatically join, or their members can be automatically placed in the default Members network.
  • Member check-ins and check-outs are tracked in OfficeRnD based on network sessions.
  • Temporary members who utilize meeting room reservations or day passes can connect to the isofy network with their OfficeRnD credentials.
  • A check-out grace period can be defined to minimize false check-outs.

Before you enable the integration

  • Make sure that all of your members know their OfficeRnD credentials (or know how to reset their
passwords) so they can easily connect.
  • Once the integration is enabled, every member must enter their OfficeRnD credential to connect to the network for the first time.
  • Export a list of Companies from OfficeRnD and a list of Networks from isofy to ensure they match (if you already have existing data in isofy; pay special attention to spelling, the system is case-sensitive). Once the integration is enabled and "Enable Member Private Network" is turned on, every Company that matches a network will automatically pair. Any Company that doesn't have an exact Network match will be created as a new network.
Tip: To export your network names in isofy, go to Data > Export > Networks.
  • Ensure you and your site team know that all Companies and Members should now only be created in OfficeRnD; they will then be added to isofy automatically.
