Visitor Hub App – Recommended Tablets

We recommend the following tablets and stands for the OfficeRnD Visitor Hub app (both Flex & Hybrid):

Android

The app should be compatible with any tablet running Android 6.0 or later. For an optimal experience, we recommend using a 10.1-inch tablet and a suitable stand, such as:

• Samsung Galaxy Tab series
• Bosstab Stands
  
  

iOS

Any Apple iPad running iPadOS 13.4 or later. For an optimal experience, we recommend a 10.9-inch iPad and a suitable stand, such as Bosstab.

OfficeRnD customers can download the Visitor Hub Tablet app from the Apple and Google app stores:

Set the tablet in Kiosk mode (Android)

1. Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Other security settings.
2. Search the "Pin App" option and enable it.

3. Tap the "Recents" button and click the Visitor Hub app's icon.

4. Tap the pin icon and your Android tablet will be locked into kiosk mode.
   
   

Set the tablet in Kiosk mode (iOS)

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility.
2. Turn on Guided Access.
3. Enable Passcode Settings and select Guided Access Passcode or Touch ID.
4. Optionally, set Time Limits to play a sound and have the time remaining spoken.
5. Optionally, toggle Accessibility Shortcut to let users triple-click the side/Home button during a Guided Access session to display Accessibility Shortcut settings.
6. Set Display Auto-Lock to how long before the iPad will lock automatically during a Guided Access session.
7. Open the Visitor Hub app.
8. Triple-tap the side/Home button to begin Guided Access.
