Coworking spaces change quite often - desks are being relocated, meeting rooms are being transformed into private offices, etc. You might want those changes to also reflect your floor plans in OfficeRnD.
Below are the basics of how to work and edit your floor plans.
To start:
- Go to Space/Location and click on the floor plan that needs to be edited.
- Click on the 'Design' button on top to start editing.
- Take a look at the menu - these are the different options available in the floor plan designer:
Add Walls
To add a wall, click on 'Walls' from the menu on top, hold the CTRL button/Command Key ⌘ on your keyboard, and define the beginning and the end of the wall.
Remove Walls
To remove a wall, click on 'Selection', select the wall that needs to be removed, and click on the trash can icon to the right.
Add and Resize Furniture
Select the piece of furniture you'd like to add to your floor plan, click on it, and drag it onto the floor plan. Rotate it or change its size from the right for a better fit.
Add spaces
To add spaces, click on 'Spaces' and click on the corners of the zone. When you're ready, hit 'Enter', add a name, and define (or change) the space's type.
Tip: There are a few default space types in OfficeRnD, but you can also add your custom spaces and place them on the floor plan - hereyou can read more on how to do that.
