Edit Your Floor Plans

Coworking spaces change quite often - desks are being relocated, meeting rooms are being transformed into private offices, etc. You might want those changes to also reflect your floor plans in OfficeRnD.

Below are the basics of how to work and edit your floor plans in OfficeRnD.

To start:

  1. Go to Space/Location and click on the floor plan that needs to be edited.
  2. Click on the 'Design' button on top, to start editing.
  3. Take a look at the menu on top - there are the different option you will be mostly using throughout this process.

Add Walls

To add a wall, click on 'Walls' from the menu on top, hold on to the CTRL button/Command Key ⌘ on your keyboard, and with the mouse, define the beginning and the end of the wall.

Remove Walls

To remove a wall, click on 'Selection'. Select the wall that needs to be removed and to the trash can on the right.

Add and Resize Furniture

Select the piece of furniture you'd like to add to your floor plan, click on it, and drag it to the floor plan. Rotate it or change its size from the right, to better fit the floor plan.

Note: From the furniture, only desks can be later on assigned to members or companies. If you add e.g. working table, you will not be able to link it to membership and assign it to members of your community.

Add Zones

To add a zone, click on 'Zones', and using the mouse, click on the corners of the zone. When you are ready hit 'Enter', add a name (optional), and define its type.

Change Zones

To change a zone, click again on 'Zones', select the zone you want to change, and from the menu on the right you get the option to delete it, rename it, or change its type.

Tip: There are a few default zone types in OfficeRnD but you can also add your custom zone and pass them on the floor plan - here you can read more on how to do that.
If you want your floor plans to be edited further, please reach out to support@officernd.com with some more information on what needs to be edited, and the deadline for implementing the changes and we will take it from there. Have in mind that completion usually takes between 3 to 10 days, based on the size and complexity of the request, and the final ETA will be confirmed by the agent who is working on the request.
