You can enhance meeting room bookings by adding extra services, also called extras. These services can be complimentary or charged on top of the booking fee, depending on how you set them up.
With Resource Rates in place, you can create one-off service plans (for example, coffee, catering, or a facilitator's kit) and add them to meeting room bookings. This article explains how to set up these services and make them available for members during booking.

The pricing of Meeting room bookings is controlled by Resource Rates. You can add extras to these Resource Rates. Create a Resource Rate →
Add extra services
To offer additional services as extras to bookings:
Go to
Billing > Plans.
Click Add Plan and select One-off.
Set the Plan Type to "Service".
Add a name and a price for the service.
Click Add.
Go to
Billing > Resource Rates.
Click the Resource Rate for the meeting room(s) you want to add extra services to.
Open Extras and select the services you want to offer.
Click Update.
The services you list in the Extras field of the Resource Rate will be displayed in the booking dialog with checkboxes so that members can select if they want to purchase an additional service. Depending on the price you apply in step 4, the service might be complimentary or charged on top of their booking.
Note: When your members are purchasing Extras and Plans, their quantity can only be edited during the setup and not during checkout.
