The Booking charge slot setting lets you control both the minimum chargeable time and the increments in which bookings can be made. For example, if the slot is set to 30 minutes, members can book for 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, but not for 45 minutes or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
This article explains where to find the setting, how it affects billing and credits, and how bookings are rounded based on the slot you choose.
Summary
Define the increments in which bookings can be made.
Options: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
Bookings shorter than the slot are billed at the slot value.
Bookings must match the chosen increment exactly (no in-between times).
Applies to both booking fees and credits/coins usage.
Before you start
Define the booking charge slot
To define the minimum chargeable time and the increments in which bookings can be made:
Go to Settings > Calendar > Calendar & Bookings.
Open Booking charge slot and select one of the available options:
15 minutes
30 minutes
1 hour
Scroll down and click Update.
When set, every booking must be made in multiples of the selected slot duration.
How booking increments work
Depending on what booking charge slot you have set, the following will happen:
If the slot is set to 15 minutes, members can book for 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes, and so on.
If the slot is set to 30 minutes, members can book for 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes, etc. For example, bookings of 45 minutes or 1 hour and 15 minutes are not possible.
If the slot is set to 1 hour, members can book only for 1, 2, 3, 4 hours, and so on. For example, bookings of 1.5 hours are not possible.
This rule applies to both paid booking fees and bookings made with credits or coins.
Important: Booking durations must always match the selected increment exactly. In-between time durations cannot be booked.
