This article explains how to test the Visitor Hub app notifications.
On the Admin portal, go to Visitor Hub > Tablet App Settings > Notifications. Here, you can test the email notifications sent to:
- the Host when a visitor arrives and checks in
- the Visitor when an invitation email is sent out
- the Delivery Recipient when a delivery is registered via the Visitor Hub app
Additionally, the following channels are supported:
- MS Teams (for Host and Delivery Recipient notifications). This feature is only available on OfficeRnD Hybrid.
- Push notifications (in the OfficeRnD Hybrid Work app)
- SMS as a paid add-on. Learn more about SMS notifications →
Below, you can see what each notification type looks like.
Email notifications
Hosts will receive an email when visitors check in. Recipients will receive an email when their delivery has arrived. This is what a Delivery notification email looks like:
MS Teams notifications
Hosts will receive a notification from Microsoft Teams when visitors check in. Recipients will receive a notification from Microsoft Teams when their delivery has arrived. This is what a Delivery MS Teams notification looks like:
Mobile push notifications
Hosts will receive a push notification on their phones when visitors check in. Recipients will receive a push notification when their delivery has arrived. This is what a push notification for a visitor check-in looks like:
SMS notifications
